Renting an electric car

When renting an electric car from KARAM, keep in mind that the distance you can travel on one charge may vary depending on the make and model of the car, as well as road conditions and external temperature.

Before hitting the road, check the battery level of the car and the nearest charging station. Depending on your location, you may need to make a stop to charge the car to ensure enough fuel for your journey.

How to charge an electric car? The charging instructions may vary slightly depending on the car model, but the procedure is usually as follows:

Open the charging port door by pressing the button on the steering wheel or key fob.

Take out the charging cable from the trunk and connect it to the charging station and the car.

Start charging by following the instructions on the charging station. The battery charge percentage and remaining time will be displayed on the car dashboard. (If you are returning the rental car to a designated parking spot with a charging device, you can stop here and leave the car to charge.)
When you are ready, stop charging by following the instructions on the charging station.

Disconnect the cable from the car and charging station and place it back in the car trunk.

Do not let the battery run below 10%. This will ensure that you always have enough power to reach a charging station and prevent damage to the car. For faster charging and longer battery life, it is recommended to keep the battery charged between 20% and 80%.

When you arrive at the place where you will return the car, please make sure to leave it with enough charging level for the next user.
