KARAM Standards
When car owners publish their cars for rent on the KARAM website, they must follow certain rules and conditions to ensure the safety and convenience of the service users. Some of these rules include:
- Keeping the availability calendar up-to-date and not canceling rentals unless for unforeseen circumstances.
- Responding to rental inquiries as soon as possible. If the owner does not respond to inquiries, KARAM provides advice on finding another car for rent.
- Good condition of the car - Car owners must ensure that their cars are in good condition for driving and meet all safety requirements.
- Regular maintenance - Car owners must maintain their cars in good technical condition and provide all necessary maintenance documents and certificates.
- Cleanliness - Car owners must provide their cars in a clean condition to service users.
- Accurate representation of the car - Car owners must present their cars exactly as they are and not engage in any misleading actions.
- Mileage restrictions - Car owners may impose mileage restrictions on their cars, which must be indicated in the advertisement.
- Car delivery - Car owners must provide car delivery to service users at a specific location and time.
- No smoking policy - Car owners may prohibit smoking in their cars.
- No pets policy - Car owners may prohibit bringing pets into their cars.
- Late return notification - Car owners must notify service users if they cannot return the car at the agreed time.
- The car must be provided with at least 1/4 fuel in the tank. You must also return the car with at least the same amount of fuel as it had at the beginning of the rental.
As a renter, you can expect car owners who share their cars for rent to be responsible and professional in their dealings with you. In case of any issues, KARAM provides advice on what to do.
