Preparing the car before renting

It is recommended that you follow the following steps to prepare your car before renting it to a KARAM user:

  1. Clean the car: Make sure the interior and exterior of the car are clean and tidy. Remove all personal belongings or clutter.
  2. Check the fuel level: Make sure the fuel level is sufficient for the rental period. If not, fill the tank before handing over the car.
  3. Check tire pressure: Make sure the tire pressure is at the recommended level. If not, inflate or deflate the tires as needed.
  4. Check fluids: Check the levels of oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluid and top them up if necessary.
  5. Check the brakes: Test the brakes to ensure they are functioning properly.
  6. Check the lights: Test all the lights on the car, including headlights, taillights, and turn signals.
  7. Record possible damages: Take photos of the car to record any possible damages or issues and include them in the rental agreement.
  8. Check for warning lights: Check the car's dashboard for any warning lights or alerts and resolve any issues that can be flagged.
  9. Test locks and windows: Test all locks and windows to ensure they are functioning properly.
  10. Make sure all necessary documents are in the car: Ensure that the car's registration, insurance, and all other necessary documents are in the car and up to date.
  11. Leave a spare key: Leave a spare key in a secure and protected place for emergencies.
  12. Provide necessary instructions: Leave all necessary instructions for the renter, including how to operate the car and where to find important information.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your car is in good condition and ready for the user who will rent it.
