- Check the brakes: Test the brakes to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Check the lights: Test all the lights on the car, including headlights, taillights, and turn signals.
- Record possible damages: Take photos of the car to record any possible damages or issues and include them in the rental agreement.
- Check for warning lights: Check the car's dashboard for any warning lights or alerts and resolve any issues that can be flagged.
- Test locks and windows: Test all locks and windows to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Make sure all necessary documents are in the car: Ensure that the car's registration, insurance, and all other necessary documents are in the car and up to date.
- Leave a spare key: Leave a spare key in a secure and protected place for emergencies.
- Provide necessary instructions: Leave all necessary instructions for the renter, including how to operate the car and where to find important information.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your car is in good condition and ready for the user who will rent it.
